Cong questions Maha govt over youth training scheme; students literally beaten while protesting

Nagpur, Dec 14 (UNI) Congress Legislative Party leader Vijay Wadettiwar today took an aggressive stand in the Maharashtra Assembly by questioning the state government over its action against the protesting youths.
"Maharashtra had introduced the "Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme" before the Assembly elections. The then Chief Minister had promised employment to these trainees, but now those young people have been left on the streets. Yesterday, when these youths protested, they were literally driven out by police," he said.
He highlighted that these youths had campaigned and worked for the government during elections, yet were met with brutal action when they protested for their rights.
