Congress accuses BJP of weaponising SIR; urges BLOs, block presidents of 12 States to remain vigilant

New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) The Congress party has accused the BJP of manipulating the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process to steal votes, warning that any inaction by the Election Commission (EC) would amount to silent complicity.
In a call to action, Congress urged Booth Level Officers (BLOs), district, and block presidents in 12 states involved in the SIR process to stay vigilant and expose any attempt to remove legitimate voters or add fraudulent ones.
The party, in a meeting held at Indiar Bhavan, emphasized its commitment to protecting democratic safeguards against the misuse of institutional power.
