Congress appoints media team for Bihar assembly elections

Patna, Mar 17 (UNI) Congress on Monday appointed a media team to boost the prospects for the party in the next Bihar assembly elections likely to be held in October-November this year.
Pawan Khera, chairman of media and publicity and also a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), appointed the media team which will discharge its responsibility by providing inputs and propagating the party's programmes among the people.
Those appointed to the team are -- Abhay Dubey (National Media Coordinator), Priyanka Gupta, Prakash Meena, Ritu Singh and Teena Karmakar (all Coordinators), Jyoti Kumar Singh and Satyendra Singh Raghav (both Research Coordinators). The team will work in coordination with Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC). UNI KKS SSP

Shillong, Apr 29 (UNI) Meghalaya Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers vacated from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong campus late Monday night after varsity’s authorities wrote to state authorities to withdraw the security personnel to restore normalcy in the campus, an official said on Tuesday.
