Congress High Command calls Himachal leaders to Delhi amid organisational crisis

Shimla/New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) In a significant move to revive the ailing Himachal Pradesh Congress unit, party leader Rahul Gandhi has convened a crucial meeting of senior state leaders in New Delhi on August 4.
The meeting is expected to deliberate on key organisational matters, including the formation of a new Pradesh Congress Committee team, appointment of the next state Congress president, filling a vacant cabinet post, and fresh appointments in boards and corporations.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who arrived in the national capital on Thursday, will present his government's report card and brief the central leadership on the devastation caused by the recent natural disasters in the hill state.
