Court grants bail to accused in New India Co-operative Bank scam

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) A local court here granted bail to Rajivranjan Pandey alias Pawan Gupta, an accused in the New India Co-operative Bank Ltd fraud case.
Pandy accused of being one of the beneficiaries in the alleged scam, had moved the metropolitan magistrate after the Supreme Court allowed his appeal against a Bombay High Court order rejecting his bail plea.
The apex court while allowing his appeal had directed that he be released on bail subject to conditions to be fixed by the trial court.
