CRPF chief reviews Kashmir security, stresses proactive measures for Amarnath Yatra safety

Srinagar, June 11 (UNI): Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Gyanendra Pratap Singh on Thursday stressed the need for proactive security measures to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, scheduled to begin next month.
On the third and final day of his visit to the Kashmir Valley, the CRPF chief chaired a high-level security review meeting with senior officers and ground commanders at the Group Centre (GC) Srinagar.
A CRPF spokesperson said the Director General reviewed the overall security situation in the Valley and emphasised maintaining heightened alertness to ensure a safe and incident-free pilgrimage.
