Curfew relaxed in Cuttack as city gradually returns to normalcy

Cuttack, Oct 7 (UNI) The curfew imposed in Cuttack city following group clashes during the immersion procession of Durga idols was relaxed today after 36 hours, as the situation began returning to normal.
Police Commissioner S. Deb Dutta Singh said the city is slowly limping back to normalcy, with no untoward incidents reported in the past 24 hours.
He informed that since there was no official communication regarding an extension of the curfew, which was due to lapse at 10 am, the restrictions were lifted to facilitate a return to routine life.
