Daughter of soil, Jammu’s Pallavi Vimal Joshi honored with prestigious international award at London

Jammu, Mar 25 (UNI) A distinguished daughter of the soil, Pallavi Vimal Joshi has been conferred with Special Award for Promising Professional (Pioneer in Aviation Asset Management) at the IIW SHE INSPIRES Awards 2025.

The prestigious award, instituted by Inspiring Indian Women (IIW), was presented at a glittering ceremony at the Houses of Parliament, London, under the presence of MP Padma Shri Bob Blackman.

Hailing from Jammu, Pallavi is the daughter of Late Jawahar Lal Baru, a Retired Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer J&K Government, and Late Swarn Kanta Baru, a retired Master, Education Department J&K Government.

A handout issued here said that currently serving as the CEO of AirFleet Managers, a pioneering multinational aviation consultancy, Joshi has played a vital role in redefining Aviation Asset Management.

Over the past 28 years, she has led a team of over 45 aviation professionals, spearheading excellence in Aircraft lease transition, Aircraft Delivery and Re-Delivery, Aircraft Physical Inspections, Records Review, and the Digitization of Aviation Records.

With a global footprint, AirFleet Managers operates from multiple offices strategically located in India, Singapore, Ireland, and Malaysia, allowing the company to cater to the aviation industry's dynamic needs worldwide.

The IIW SHE INSPIRES Awards celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.

On receiving the award, Joshi expressed gratitude, saying, “This recognition is not just mine, but belongs to every woman who dares to dream and strives to make a difference.
