Day after Modi's visit, Congress counters allegation, says Modi visited 39 foreign countries when Manipur was burning

Guwahati, Sep 15 (UNI) A day after Prime Minister Modi winded up his two day tour of the northeastern states--visiting Mizoram, Manipur and Assam--, the opposition Congress in Assam responded to the allegation levelled by the Prime Minister against the Congress party.
Addressing a press conference at Rajiv Bhavan in Guwahati today, Congress Lok Sabha MP Pradyut Bordoloi said that the Prime Minister came to Manipur for just two and half hours despite the fact the Manipur has been burning for the last two and half years.
"The Prime Minister visited Manipur for 2.5 hours after two and half years of violence. When Manipur was burning for two and half years, the Prime Minister had visited 39 foreign countries including the USA three times, two times each to Russia and France and three times to the UAE,"
