Day temperatures above normal at many places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi

Pune, Mar 27 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at many places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi; at isolated places over Punjab, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad.
The Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) ) at many places over east Uttar Pradesh; at a few places over Uttarakhand; at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, Vidarbha; at a few places over Odisha, Marathwada; at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat region.
These were below normal (-3.0°C to -1.6°C) at isolated places over Telangana and near normal over rest parts of the country.
