DC field first against PBKS

Dharamsala, May 11 (UNI) Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to field against Punjab Kings in Match 55 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium here on Monday.
Delhi skipper Axar Patel said the team wanted to chase on a fresh wicket at the high-scoring Dharamsala venue, while also hoping to exploit any swing available for the fast bowlers.
“We will play our brand of cricket and whatever the result is, we will take it as a team,” Axar said after the toss, adding that Delhi had made five changes to the playing XI, bringing in Abishek Porel, Sahil Parakh, David Miller, Auqib Nabi and Madhav Tiwari.
