Delhi court raps Delhi Police, grants bail to TV Actor Ashish Kapoor

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) A Delhi Court on Thursday, while sharply rapping the Delhi Police, granted bail to TV actor Ashish Kapoor in connection with a rape case that took place at the house of an Air India official in North Delhi's Civil Lines.
The court noted in its order that the Delhi Police, despite getting his custodial remand, didn't make sincere efforts to recover the cell phone of the victim.
Also, no searches were carried out as per law.
