Delhi has rejected Muffler-man after a decade: IAC President

Pune, Feb 8 (UNI) After a decade the people of Delhi have rejected "Muffler man" Arvind Kejriwal who entered the political arena by raising the issue of corruption rampant in the country's politics, said Hemant Patil, founder president of India Against Corruption (IAC) here today.
Patil said that it cannot be denied that the Delhi government under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) implemented many innovative schemes while in power, which directly benefited the citizens. However, the defeat of Kejriwal and AAP highlight that the citizens had lost trust in the state government, including the party leadership.
The state government was in the news due to its education schemes as well as the 'Mohalla Clinic' healthcare model. However, in this election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership has once again proven that the magic of "Modi's guarantee" still remains in the minds of the people.
