Delhi police bust infant trafficking ring, arrest ten and rescue six children

New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) The Delhi Police on Monday busted a human trafficking gang and arrested ten of its members for allegedly stealing and selling infants to couples.
Police have recovered six children based on information provided by the accused. The gang reportedly sold each child for between one and two lakh rupees.
According to Hemant Tiwari, DCP of the South East District, the police received a complaint on August 22 at the New Friends Colony police station.

New Delhi, June 13, (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, presided over the flagging-off ceremony of the inaugural batch of pilgrims undertaking the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (KMY) 2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday.
The first group of pilgrims will travel via the Nathu La route and is scheduled to commence its onward journey from Delhi on June 15, 2026.
