Deven Bharti appointed new police commissioner of Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 30 ( UNI) Deven Bharti will be the new police commissioner of Mumbai, said state home department here on Wednesday.
Bharti will takes charge as Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar is retiring on Wednesday.
The Home Department has issued orders stating that the 1994 batch IPS officer Deven Bharti will take charge as Mumbai Police Commissioner.
