Disney+ Hotstar unveils 3D anamorphic billboards for new film

Mumbai, Aug 12 (UNI) Disney+ Hotstar is revolutionising digital entertainment advertising with the launch of 21 3D anamorphic billboards in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru to promote the release of 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' on the platform.
This cutting-edge technology highlights Disney+ Hotstar’s dedication to providing immersive experiences.
The 3D anamorphic billboards are strategically placed in prominent locations such as Jio World Drive in Mumbai, Cyber Hub in Delhi, and Garuda Mall in Bengaluru. “The billboards transform cityscapes with striking, lifelike visuals that bring the epic world of 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' to life,” said a Disney+ Hotstar spokesperson. The billboards feature apes from the film appearing to lean out from the screen, creating the illusion that they might leap out at viewers. Advanced visual technology is employed to produce a sense of depth and motion, enhancing the viewing experience.
Directed by Wes Ball, 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' debuted on Disney+ Hotstar on August 2 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film continues the 'Planet of the Apes' saga, set several generations after Caesar’s reign. In this new era, apes are the dominant species, living in harmony, while humans are relegated to the shadows. The story follows a young ape as he embarks on a perilous journey, questioning his past and making pivotal choices that will shape the future for both apes and humans.
