Dr. Raju Waghmare appointed National Coordinator of Global Human Rights Defence

Pune, Sep 10 (UNI) Senior journalist and social worker Dr. Rajendra (Raju) Waghmare has been appointed as the National Coordinator for India by Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD), an international human rights organisation.
Dr. Waghmare has been entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the organisation’s work in India, ensuring justice for people at the grassroots level, and protecting their human rights.
With over two decades of experience in journalism, Dr. Waghmare has worked in Hindi, Marathi, and English media and has written extensively on various social issues. He has also been committed to the overall development of underprivileged communities.
