Driver dead, over 30 injured after bus overturns in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8 (UNI) The driver of a passenger bus died and more than 30 passengers injured, eight of them seriously, when the bus hit a roadside tree and overturned at Soroda Chhak near Daspalla under Nuagaon Police station in Nayagarh district on Friday.
Sources said the bus, carrying 40 passeners, was on its way from Raikia to Bhubaneswar when the accident occurred.
Local people, Police, and Fire Brigade personnel rescued the injured and rushed them to District headquarters hospital in Nayagarha.
