DRM inspects railway tracks, assesses passengers amenities

Visakhapatnam, Nov 8 (UNI) Waltair Divisional RailwayManager Lalit Bohra conducted comprehensive inspection of theVisakhapatnam–Naupada–Paralakhemundi section in the Waltair Division today.
During his visit, he assessed passenger amenities and reviewed ongoing infrastructure improvements across stations along the route,including platform raising, enhanced illumination, upgraded drinking waterfacilities, improved platform shelters, accessibility measures for Divyangjanpassengers, Foot Over Bridges, and other critical enhancements.
At key stations such as Paralakhemundi, Dusi, and Vizianagaram, DRM evaluated progress on development works, upgrades tocirculating areas, cleaning efforts, beautification, and maintenance standards. Particular attention was given to addressing issues and prioritizing targeted improvements at Paralakhemundi station.
