ED conduct raids in the PMLA case related to DMFT

New Delhi, Sept 6 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today said its sleuths carried out search operation at 28 locations in Chhattisgarh in connection with a PMLA case linked to District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) scam.
The search operations were carried out on September 3 and 4 by its Raipur Zone office. The locations include residential and official premises of the contractors/vendors and their liasoners / middlemen related to Chhattisgarh Rajya Beej Evam Krishi Vikas Nigam Ltd. (Beej Nigam).
"The search and seizure operation resulted into seizure of cash amounting to Rs 4 Crore, 10 kg of silver bullions as well as other incriminating documents, digital devices etc," said the ED official.
