Eight cybercriminals arrested in major police operation in Deoghar district

Ranchi, Nov 18 (UNI) Deoghar Police have arrested eight cybercriminals from the Devipur police station area. The operation was carried out under the direction of Deoghar Superintendent of Police Saurabh Kumar and led by Cyber DSP Raja Mitra.
During interrogation, the arrested individuals confessed to duping people by posing as fake bank officials, agricultural officers, customer care executives, credit card officers, and HP gas representatives.
Police recovered eight mobile phones and 12 SIM cards from their possession.
