Eight national institutes forge research collaboration

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 11 (UNI) In a major step to strengthen academic exchange and foster innovation, eight premier national institutes based in the Kerala capital have come together to formalise a wide-ranging research collaboration.
The institutions- Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), CSIR–National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR–NIIST), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) - signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at SCTIMST here on Thursday.
Officials said the collaboration would promote joint research projects, encourage faculty–student partnerships, and facilitate interdisciplinary studies.
