Ensuring all weather connectivity in remote rural areas top priority: Sunil Kumar

Patna, May 8 (UNI) Newly-appointed Rural Works Minister Sunil Kumar Friday said that ensuring all-weather connectivity in remote and rural areas of Bihar is the top priority of his department.
After assuming charges of the department, the minister held a brief review meeting with senior officials to assess the progress of ongoing rural road and bridge construction projects across the state.
Emphasising the timely execution of departmental schemes, Sunil Kumar said the path to Bihar’s all-round development passes through strong and well-connected rural roads. He said the department is committed to ensuring year-round connectivity in far-flung villages and rural regions of the state.
