Telangana govt approves ticket price hike for ‘Game Changer'

Hyderabad, Jan 9 (UNI) The Telangana government has permitted the filmmakers of Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer to hike the ticket prices for the movie slated for a worldwide release on Friday.
In an order issued on Wednesday, the government permitted extra shows from Jan 10 to 19.
However, the government rejected the request for screening a benefit show at 1 AM with enhanced rates.
Six shows can be screened on Friday including an extra show at 4 AM, with an additional amount of Rs 150 at multiplex theatres and an additional Rs 100 at single-screen theatres, the Government order said.
From January 11-19, five shows can be screened with an additional Rs 100 on the ticket price for multiplex theatres and an additional Rs 50 for single-screen theatres. The hiked charges will be inclusive of GST, the Go added.
Written by Karthik Subbaraj and directed by Shankar in his Tollywood debut, Game Changer is a political drama featuring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah in prominent roles.
The movie which is kickstarting Tollywood's epic Sankranthi 2025 face-off is releasing in as many as three languages worldwide on January 10.
