"Countless Battles": Rhea Chakraborty reflects as she gets passport after 5 years

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) Actor Rhea Chakraborty has finally received her passport after a five-year-long wait, marking a significant development in her legal battles following the aftermath of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death in June, 2020.
The Bombay High Court recently ruled in her favour, allowing the return of the document in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
Taking to Instagram, Rhea shared a photo of her passport, expressing gratitude and relief. Rhea reflected on the difficult years and "countless battles" she faced, saying that "patience" was her only passport during this time. Along with her message, she also shared how she is ready to start fresh.
She wrote, "Patience was my only passport for the past five years. Countless battles. Endless hope. Today, I held my passport again. Ready for Chapter 2!"
Rhea had been under investigation by multiple agencies, including the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), following allegations related to a drug case linked to Rajput's death.
Her passport was withheld as part of the ongoing probe, restricting her international travel and affecting her professional opportunities.
The Bombay High Court had previously granted her permission to travel abroad for work but with strict conditions. With the return of her passport, it's expected that she may now pursue international projects more freely.
Her post has received an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, many praising her resilience through years of public scrutiny and legal challenges.
Rhea was last seen in Rumi Jaffery's Chehre, where she shared screen space with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, and Annu Kapoor.
