Akshay Kumar drops teaser of new ‘Uncha Lamba Kad’, dedicates it to Katrina Kaif

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) It looks like the iconic track “Uncha Lamba Kad” from the Akshay Kumar–Katrina Kaif starrer 'Welcome' movie is set to return this time with a fresh twist in "Welcome to the Jungle", the third installment in the blockbuster comedy franchise.
Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a lively video featuring himself and co-star Disha Patani dancing to the revamped version of the beloved song. The actor also added the new audio track to his post, instantly sparking nostalgia among fans.
What really caught everyone’s attention, however, was Akshay’s heartfelt caption, where he fondly remembered his former Welcome co-star Katrina Kaif.
He wrote, “From our hearts to yours!! What a throwback, 18 years and still an all-time favourite. With so much nostalgia, beautiful Disha & I bring you Welcome to the Jungle... Never forgetting our Queen Katrina WelcomeToTheJungle Welcome3.”
The upcoming film boasts a star-studded cast including Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Johnny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, and musical brothers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh. Directed by Ahmed Khan, "Welcome to the Jungle" promises a fresh dose of humour and energy.
The Welcome franchise began with the 2007 hit featuring Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal. The sequel, Welcome Back (2015), saw John Abraham and Shruti Haasan take over the lead roles, with Anees Bazmee directing both earlier installments.
