Excitement builds for ‘Drishyam 3’ as Mohanlal wraps shoot

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) The much-anticipated ‘Drishyam 3,’ starring Mohanlal, has officially completed filming, and a behind-the-scenes video from the final day is winning fans over.
Mohanlal shared the pack-up clip on his Instagram with the caption, “See you in cinemas! Drishyam3.”
The video captures the superstar’s endearing reaction as director Jeethu Joseph approves the final shot. Standing in a mix of shock and bashful amusement, Mohanlal’s reaction has charmed fans and added to the excitement surrounding the third installment of the mystery thriller.
In the clip, Mohanlal peers through the viewfinder while Jeethu Joseph reviews the last take. Playfully, Mohanlal says “Vokey,” prompting Jeethu Joseph to stand and announce, “Ok.”
Mohanlal responds with a shy, surprised smile as the crew bursts into applause and cheers. The celebration continues with the cast and crew cutting a cake together.
The video ends with Mohanlal signing off as “With love, Georgekutty,” checking with those nearby to confirm he spelled it correctly.
Fans flooded the post with comments, including, "George Kutty is safe this time I guess," and "Let's wait and see what will happen to the box office."
Filming for ‘Drishyam 3’ began on September 22, 2025, and the movie reunites the beloved cast, including Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Irshad, and Ganesh Kumar.
Mohanlal was last seen in Sathyan Anthikad’s Hridayapoorvam, which received positive audience feedback. The superstar is also set to collaborate with Tharun Moorthy again following the success of Thudarum.
