YRF advances ‘Mardaani 3’ release, new poster unveiled

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) The third instalment of Rani Mukerji’s action-thriller franchise ‘Mardaani’ has received a new release date.
Yash Raj Films has advanced the theatrical release of ‘Mardaani 3’, which will now arrive in cinemas on Jan 30, instead of its previously announced date of Feb 27, 2026.
The announcement was made on Saturday through the production house’s Instagram handle, accompanied by a fresh poster from the film.
According to the makers, ‘Mardaani 3’ will unfold as a fast-paced, high-stakes thriller, centring on a race against time as a police officer searches for missing girls.
Rani Mukerji reprises her role as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, who once again confronts dark and dangerous forces while attempting to rescue several victims.
Earlier, Rani described the film as an “edge-of-the-seat thriller” that is “dark, deadly, and brutal.” The makers have also hinted at an intense and violent showdown between Shivani’s unwavering sense of justice and sinister evil forces.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, ‘Mardaani 3’ continues a franchise known for tackling hard-hitting social crimes. The original Mardaani (2014) focused on human trafficking, while Mardaani 2 followed the pursuit of a ruthless criminal who challenged the police system.
