Trailer of 'Pritam and Pedro' out

Mumbai, Jun 15 (UNI) The official trailer of "Pritam and Pedro" has been released, offering viewers a glimpse into an intriguing blend of comedy, mystery and adventure set against the vibrant backdrop of Goa.
At the centre of the story are Pedro and Pritam. Pedro is an old-fashioned police officer who relies on experience and intuition, while Pritam is a sharp young tech expert, adept at modern technology. The two become embroiled in a mystery that proves more complex and unexpected than they ever imagined. As their journey unfolds, the mystery deepens, relationships are tested, and new challenges emerge at every turn.
The series is produced by acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and helmed by Avinash Arun. It stars talented actors like Arshad Warsi, Vikrant Massey, Veer Hirani, Mona Singh, and Boman Irani in lead roles.
Rajkumar said that what attracted him most to the story was the relationship between its two main characters. He explained that "Pritam and Pedro" come from completely different worlds and have different perspectives on life, but circumstances force them to embark on the same journey.
Director Avinash said that the most striking feature of the series is its unpredictability. It's not just about humor and entertainment, but also explores the depth of human relationships. He added that the entire team has worked together to create a world that completely immerses the audience.
Arshad, describing his character Pedro, said that he is someone who trusts his heart and experiences rather than overthinking. This is why he often finds himself in situations he shouldn't be in. He added that the show's whimsical humor, and constant surprises are its greatest strengths.
Vikrant said he was drawn to the series because of its multi-layered story and entertaining premise. According to him, it combines comedy, suspense, emotions, and several surprising twists. Each character has their own unique journey and purpose, which makes the story even more authentic.
Veer, meanwhile, said that being a part of this project was a priceless learning opportunity for him. He explained that every day on set felt like a masterclass, where he learned so much from experienced actors and filmmakers like Arshad, Vikrant, Mona and Avinash.
A unique blend of comedy, suspense, emotion, and adventure, "Pritam and Pedro" promises to give viewers a fresh and exciting experience. It will premiere exclusively on JioHotstar on July 3.
