Richard Gadd's 'Half Man' to premiere in India

Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) Indian viewers will soon be able to watch "Half Man", the latest drama series from Emmy-winning writer and actor Richard Gadd, as the show is set to premiere on Lionsgate Play later this month.
The series, which was initially developed under the title "Lions", was later officially renamed "Half Man". The drama was commissioned by the BBC, with HBO joining the project as a co-production partner.
Helmed by Alexandra Brodski and Eshref Reybrouck and also stars Stuart Campbell and Mitchell Robertson as the younger versions of the lead characters, reports Variety India.
“Half Man” arrives following the mega impact of “Baby Reindeer,” which became a global sensation and earned widespread critical acclaim, including multiple Emmy Awards. Rather than revisiting the same territory, Gadd’s latest work expands his examination of damaged relationships and the complexities of human behavior.
The series received strong reviews upon its international debut, with critics praising Gadd and Bell’s performances as well as its unflinching approach to themes surrounding masculinity and emotional vulnerability.
The official premiere date is likely to be announced in the coming weeks. UNI NST CDS
