Establish task force to solve health problems of sugarcane workers in Maha: Dr Gorhe

Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) A separate task force should be set up to effectively solve the health problems of the sugarcane workers in Maharashtra, directed Dr Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Chairman of the State Legislative Council, on Wednesday.
Presiding over a meeting held to discuss the report of the joint committee submitted to the government in the case of hysterectomy of women sugarcane workers in Beed district, she said that since the Sugar Cane Workers Corporation is functioning under the Social Justice Department, it should establish a task force under the chairmanship of the Social Justice Minister in collaboration with the Sugar Cane Workers Corporation and other concerned departments.
The establishment of this task force will accelerate the resolution of the health problems of women sugarcane workers.
