Favourites move into second round winning their races easily in All India School Regatta

Kolkata, May 13 (UNI) Rowers from South Point, National High School. Modern High and St Lawrence, along with other contenders, moved into the second round of the 50th All India Invitation Schools Regatta being organised by Lake Club here Tuesday.
South Point started their campaign with their junior boys defeating La Martiniere and senior boys outrowing Andrews both in the Pairs event, while their senior girls beat National High School. In the Fours event also their senior girls' team also won their first round race against Lake Girls High School.
Like South Point, rowers from National High (CBSE) also stamped their mark today as they beat Jagabandhu and New Horizon in senior boys Fours, La Martiniere in senior girls Fours and then compatriots National High West Bengal in senior boys Fours.

New coach Pierre de Bruyn to lead Netherlands after Women’s T20 World Cup
