Five-day Konark Mahotsav concludes

Bhubaneswar, Dec 5 (UNI) Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Friday graced the concluding day of the 36th Konark Mahotsav 2025 and the 15th International Sand Art Festival 2025, adding significance to the finale of the state’s vibrant cultural celebrations.
The First Lady, Jayashree Kambhampati, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, and Rajasthan Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar were also present during the evening celebrations.
The concluding programme featured a variety of cultural presentations showcasing Odisha’s classical and traditional art forms.
The Governor witnessed the performances presented during the final-day event and felicitated the artistes and performers.
Organised by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Sangeet Natak Akademi and the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation, the festival brought together artistes, performers, and visitors in a vibrant cultural atmosphere at Konark.
Earlier, the Governor visited the 15th International Sand Art Festival and interacted with participating artists from India and abroad. Renowned sand sculptor Padma Shri Sudarshan Pattnaik was also present on the occasion.
