Former mukhiya lynched in Bihar's Aurangabad

Aurangabad, June 11 (UNI) A former Mukhiya (village head) Ajit Kumar Sinha was allegedly beaten to death by criminals under Obra police station area in Aurangabad district of Bihar on Monday late night.
Police said Sinha was beaten mercilessly by criminals, leading to his death at Khatanti village under Obra police station area on Tuesday late night. His body was recovered on Wednesday morning when locals informed about it, police added.
"Sinha had left his house to purchase medicine in night but he did not return ", police said, adding that injury mark was visible on body when recovered. The case was being investigated, police stated.
