Formidables lead board at end of 7th round of Swiss League in Ruia Gold Cup of National Bridge Championship

Kolkata, Dec 6 (UNI) Strong contender Formidables, represented by Ms Kiran Nadar (Capt), Bachiraju Satyanarayana, Rajeshwar Tewari, Shubham Acharya, Kaustubh Bendre & Kaustabh Nandi, maintained their course steady as they led the board with 96.02 Victory Points (VPs) at the end of the 7th round of the Swiss League of the Team event for the Ruia Gold Cup at the National Bridge Championship being played here today.
At the end of another round, the top eight teams will qualify for the quarter finals which will be played on knock-out basis.
Formidables are hotly chased by Team Mohota and Team Monica Jajoo with 90.86 and 88.74 VPs respectively. Last year`s winners Indian Railways "A" are at the moment in fourth spot collecting 86.87 VPs .
