Four-member drug syndicate active in Bengal, Delhi arrested

New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) Four alleged members of a drug syndicate were arrested in west Delhi after police busted a network reportedly transporting cannabis from West Bengal to Delhi, concealed in trolley bags on long-distance trains, an officer said on Tuesday.
According to the police, they have recovered more than 47 kg of cannabis worth around Rs 25 lakh, they said.
A senior officer said the accused have been identified as Toni Singh (47) of Subhash Nagar, Sultana (30) from West Bengal’s Cooch Behar, Noor Jahan (32) from Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, and Santosh, also known as Bhabhi (38), of Okhla Industrial Area.
