Frustrated by defeat in Panchayat polls, Sukhu govt snatching facilities from poor: BJP's Mela Ram Sharma

Nahan, Jun 16 (UNI) The Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh, frustrated by its recent defeat in the Panchayat Raj elections, has begun crippling the bright future of poor people in backward rural areas by snatching away government facilities from them, Sirmaur District BJP spokesperson Mela Ram Sharma said today.
Mela Ram Sharma said that frustrated by the crushing defeat in the Panchayat Raj elections, the Sukhu government has issued a dictatorial decree to close subjects like Commerce, Physical Education, Science, and Music in the college opened by the then Dhumal government in Haripurdhar, a backward area of Sirmaur district, thus crippling the future of hundreds of poor students studying there.
The district spokesperson stated that the Sukhu government has not only made life difficult for the people of this backward region by closing educational and health institutions over the past four years, but has now conspired to wipe out the existence of Haripurdhar College by closing four subjects.
