Godrej Capital Subsidiary expands MSME lending presence in UP, aims for Rs 500 Crore AUM by FY27

Lucknow, Dec 16 (UNI) Godrej Capital, the financial services arm of the Godrej Industries Group, announced here on Tuesday that its subsidiary, Godrej Finance Limited (GFL), has strengthened its presence in Uttar Pradesh to enhance access to credit for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The company has achieved over Rs 170 crore in loan bookings and Rs 125 crore in AUM across Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, and Varanasi, supported by a network of more than 400 channel partners. The company plans to expand into nine additional cities, including Meerut, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Saharanpur, Gonda, Etawah, Jhansi, and Moradabad, in the next year.
Supported by a robust portfolio, prudent underwriting standards, and strong borrower discipline, the company targets to reach Rs 500 crore in Uttar Pradesh by the financial year 2027.
