Gujarat-style rule in Kerala is Modi’s daydream: Congress

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 24 (UNI)Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Sunny Joseph on Saturday dismissed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim that the BJP could implement Gujarat-style governance in Kerala, calling it a “daydream” detached from the state’s realities.
In a statement, Joseph said Modi’s remarks on the factors behind the BJP’s long rule in Gujarat were misleading and asserted that Kerala’s politically aware and secular population would reject such claims.
He added that Modi’s visit appeared aimed at promoting communal narratives rather than addressing the state’s developmental needs.
