Gujarat Titans win toss, opt to field against LSG

Ahmedabad, May 22 (UNI) Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to field against Lucknow Super Giants in their Indian Premier League league encounter at Narendra Modi Stadium here on Thursday.
Speaking at the toss, Gill said, "We'll bowl first, looks like a good wicket. Will be good to have a target on the board. We want momentum heading into the qualifiers, these two games are going to be equally important."
Commenting on his successful partnership with Sai Sudharsan, Gill noted, "The way we complement each other is great, we don't have conversations on who will take down the bowlers. We just play with a positive intent and stay in the moment." Gujarat have gone in with an unchanged XI.
