Gunman injures woman at home in Meerut

Meerut, Oct 12 (UNI) A woman was critically injured after a masked individual allegedly entered her home and opened fire on her in Meerut’s Azadnagar Chakala locality under the Sardhana Tehsil.
The incident took place around 9:30 AM today while the woman, identified as Seema Goyal, was alone at home with a young child. Her husband, Mukesh Chand, was at work at the time.
According to police, the attacker entered the house and went directly into the kitchen where Seema was preparing breakfast.
