Gutka worth Rs 1 crore seized in Ahilyanagar

Ahilyanagar, July 13 (UNI) Continuing its crackdown on illegal businesses in the district, a special police team seized gutka worth Rs one crore in a raid at Kotul village in Akole taluka of the district today and and detained 12 people in this connection.
Acting on a confidential information, the special team raided a shed in Kotul and detained Shoaib Shavid Qazi and Shahid Hussain Latif Patel, who were storing and selling gutka in partnership.
Ten other people were detained in this operation, and gutka worth Rs 1,01,74,750, vehicles and cash have been seized.
