Hanumantha Rao demands action against PM Modi over remarks

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Telangana Government Advisor V Hanumantha Rao on Monday said he had lodged a police complaint against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his remarks against the Congress party during a recent public meeting in Hyderabad.
Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Hanumantha Rao alleged that Modi made “malicious” comments by describing the Congress as a “Muslim and Maoist party.” He questioned whether Muslims were not part of Indian society and pointed out that the community had played a significant role in the country’s freedom struggle.
He accused the Prime Minister of attempting to divide the country and alleged that Modi was functioning according to the directions of the RSS. Hanumantha Rao claimed that Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy showed greater sincerity towards the Backward Classes (BCs) than the Prime Minister.
