Haryana directs boards, corporations to adopt new Online Transfer Policy

Chandigarh, Jul 8 (UNI) In a move aimed at bringing greater transparency, uniformity and accountability in employee transfers, the Haryana Government has directed all Boards, Corporations and other government organisations to adopt or formulate their own Online Transfer Policy in line with the Model Online Transfer Policy, 2026, notified by the Human Resources Department.
According to an official communication issued by the Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, the Model Online Transfer Policy, 2025, stands repealed, and the newly notified Model Online Transfer Policy, 2026 has come into immediate effect.
The government has informed all Administrative Secretaries, Managing Directors, Chief Administrators and Commissioners of Boards and Corporations that Clause 6(ix) of the new policy specifically allows organisations of the Government of Haryana to adopt the Model Online Transfer Policy in addition to government departments.
