Haryana launches major regulatory reform and digital governance initiative

Chandigarh, Jun 10 (UNI) In a significant move aimed at improving governance, transparency, and ease of compliance, the Haryana government has launched an extensive regulatory reform exercise and announced the creation of a centralized digital repository that will host all key state laws, rules, notifications, policies, and official orders on a single online platform.
The initiative, being spearheaded under the direction of Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, seeks to make legal and policy-related information more accessible while simultaneously reviewing outdated and redundant regulations across government departments.
According to official instructions issued to all Administrative Secretaries, the proposed digital repository will serve as a comprehensive database containing State Acts, departmental rules, executive orders, circulars, notifications, policy documents, and regulations issued by municipal and local bodies. The platform will also include an advanced search feature to help users quickly locate relevant information.
