Hasan Miraz announced as Bangladesh vice-captain for Champions Trophy 2025

Dhaka, Feb 13 (UNI) Bangladesh all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz has been handed the vice-captaincy for the upcoming Champions Trophy in UAE and Pakistan.
Miraz had captained the side during the West Indies Tests and ODI and with regular skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto's return to the side following injury, Miraz will now act as Shanto's deputy in the event.
With the squad set to depart on the early hours of Friday, BCB has issued a press release to communicate Miraz's new role, according to The Daily Star report.
