High-achiever IAS officer Ashima Mittal takes charge as Jalna Collector

Jalna, Aug 2 (UNI) Ashima Mittal, the accomplished civil servant credited with transformative educational reforms in Nashik, officially assumed charge as Jalna's new District Collector on August 1.
The IIT Mumbai alumnus brings an impressive track record to her new assignment, having most recently served as Nashik Zilla Parishad's Chief Executive Officer where she implemented groundbreaking initiatives for marginalized students.
A 2017 IAS officer who secured All India 12th rank without appearing for the mains examination, Mittal holds a civil engineering degree from IIT Mumbai where she earned the prestigious Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal, along with a postgraduate degree in Anthropology.
