Himachal govt to create block-level database of natural farming practitioners in the state

Shimla, Jan 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the Agriculture Department to integrate detailed data of farmers practising natural farming with the Him Parivar Portal by 20 January 2026.
The initiative aims to create a block-level database to enable systematic mapping of natural farming practitioners and strengthen policy planning and service delivery.
Presiding over a meeting of the Agriculture Department here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said the database would help the government monitor progress, identify gaps and extend targeted support to farmers adopting natural farming methods.
