Hockey Olympians Hugo Inglis & Oliver Scholfield finalists for IOC Climate Action Awards 2025

Lausanne (Switzerland), Nov 7 (UNI) Two hockey Olympians—Hugo Inglis (New Zealand) and Oliver Scholfield (Canada)—are among the finalists for the IOC Climate Action Awards 2025, as announced by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Friday.

The awards celebrate innovative projects across the Olympic Movement that are taking tangible steps towards tackling climate change and driving sustainability in sport.

Giza (Egypt), May 11 (UNI) India’s challenge at the World Squash Championships 2026 ended after Veer Chotrani lost his second-round match against world No. 1 Mostafa Asal here.
Veer Chotrani, 45th in the men’s squash rankings, lost 3-0 (11-5, 11-2, 11-4) to local favourite and defending champion Mostafa Asal at the Palm Hills Club and PGC Golf Central Mall to bow out of the competition on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was the only one of the four Indian squash players in action at Giza to make it to the second round.
