HP CM launches unified digital appointment, gate pass system

Shimla, May 8 (UNI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday launched an integrated digital platform, ‘Unified Digital Calendar and Appointment Management System’, to streamline appointment scheduling and official meeting coordination with the Chief Minister’s Office.
The platform includes a digital gate pass system introduced at the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat to simplify public interaction with the government.
The online mechanism enables visitors to generate downloadable digital gate passes, reducing manual paperwork. Visitors without prior appointments can also obtain gate passes at the reception.
